Career

Sandu started playing handball at the age of 7 with TB Neuffen. Via TSV Owen, Sandu came to Neuhausen for whom he played in the A-youth and with whom he became Baden-Württemberg champion and southern German runner-up. Sandu played with TV Kirchzell in the 2nd handball league and in 2010 moved to HSG Wetzlar to play for one year under coach Michael Roth in the handball league . For family and professional reasons, Sandu moved to SG Köndringen / Teningen in the 3rd handball Bundesliga in 2011, for which he played until the end of his career in 2016.
