Anton Månsson (born January 9, 1989 in Kävlinge ) is a Swedish handball player .

Career

In Sweden, Månsson played for Kävlinge HK , LUGI HF and H 43 Lund , before moving to German Bundesliga club MT Melsungen in 2010 , with whom he reached the final four of the DHB Cup in 2013 and 2014 . After it became known in January 2014 that his contract with MT, which expired at the end of the season, would not be renewed, he signed a two-year contract with the Swiss club Kadetten Schaffhausen in March 2014 . In 2015 he won the championship with the Kadetten Schaffhausen. From 2015 to 2017 he played for the German club TBV Lemgo . In summer 2017 he switched to GWD Minden . He has been under contract with the Swedish first division club Olympic / Viking Helsingborg HK since the 2019/20 season .

With the Swedish national youth team, Månsson was fourth in the U-20 European Championship in 2008 and fifth in the U-23 World Championship in 2009. For the Swedish men's national team , he has played ten international matches so far , in which he scored six goals.

Månsson is married to the German handball player Nadja Månsson .
