Ólafur Gústafsson (born March 27, 1989 in Horsens , Denmark ) is an Icelandic handball player .
Career
Ólafur Gústafsson played for the Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður since he was six , with whom he became Icelandic champion in 2011. Since November 22, 2012 1.98 meter stand back player in the German Bundesliga club SG Flensburg-Handewitt under contract by which he in 2013 and 2014 in the DHB Cup reached the final and in 2014 the EHF Champions League won. For the 2014/15 season he moved to the Danish club Aalborg Håndbold , where he signed a three-year contract. With Aalborg he won the Danish championship in 2017. After the end of his contract he joined the Icelandic club UMF Stjarnan . In September 2017 he moved to the Danish club KIF Kolding København . From summer 2020 he will be under contract with the Icelandic club KA Akureyri .
Ólafur Gústafsson is a member of the Icelandic national team , for which he has scored 48 goals in 43 international matches and with which he participated in the 2013 World Cup in Spain .
