Marius Steinhauser

Marius Steinhauser (born February 6, 1993 in Karlsruhe ) is a German handball player .

Career

Marius Steinhauser started handball at TSV 05 Rot in 2007 . In 2011 he moved to HG Oftersheim / Schwetzingen , with whom he was the top scorer in the A-Youth Bundesliga in 2012 . From summer 2012, the 1.87 meter right winger was under contract with Bundesliga club Rhein-Neckar Löwen and won the EHF Europa Cup with the team in 2013 . In March 2013 he suffered a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee. After returning to training in the summer, he suffered the same injury in the same knee again in August 2013. Nevertheless, his contract term was extended to 2016 ahead of schedule. In summer 2017 he moved to SG Flensburg-Handewitt .

Steinhauser was part of the German junior national team.
