At the age of 17, the two switched to the handball school of HRK Izviđač Ljubuški and later played in the senior team. In 2013 they went to RK Borac Banja Luka and won the Bosnian-Herzegovinian championship and cup there. They also played in the SEHA league with both clubs . After his contract expired in 2018, he was able to take the next step to become a top club and join SG Flensburg-Handewitt . In the Champions League group games 2018/19, he met his twin brother with the SG, who now played for RK Zagreb . He won the German championship in 2019 with SG Flensburg-Handewitt. In the autumn of the same year, his contract, which originally ran until 2021, was prematurely extended to 2024.
