RK Borac Banja Luka ( Cyrillic РК Борац Бања Лука ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian handball club that was founded in 1950 in Banja Luka . The club's colors are red and blue. The club plays in the Borik sports hall (Dvorana Borik), which is located in the district of the same name and has a capacity of 5,000 seats (3,000 seats and 2,000 standing places).
From the founding of the handball league of Yugoslavia in 1957 until its dissolution in 1992, the club was a permanent member. Between 1959 and 1981 the club was champion seven times. In Europe Champions Cup Borac reached in 1975 the finals a year later in 1976 they won the title.
In 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997 RK Borac Banja Luka became champions in the newly established league of the Republika Srpska . The club was champion in the club cup in the League of Yugoslavia ten times, four times since 1992, most recently in 1997. In 1991, RK Borac Banja Luka won the IHF Cup under coach Velimir Petković . In 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020, Borac Banja Luka won the Bosnian championship.
