Božidar Jović
Božidar Jović (born February 13, 1972 in Banja Luka , Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian handball player .
The 2.02 m long circle runner played for the Croatian club Badel 1862 Zagreb until 2000 , where he also works as a sports director today. With Zagreb he won several championships and cup victories and reached the final of the EHF Champions League in 1995, 1997, 1998 and 1999 , but never won the title. From 2000 to 2003 he ran for the Hungarian club KC Veszprém and won the Hungarian championship in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and the Hungarian cup in 2002 and 2003.
His greatest successes with the Croatian national team were the gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games and winning the 2003 World Cup . At the 1995 World Cup, he lost to the French in the final. He won the title at the Mediterranean Games in 1997 and 2001.
