The Kézilabda Club Veszprém [ ˈvɛspreːm ] is a Hungarian handball club from Veszprém . Kézilabda is the Hungarian word for handball . Founded in 1977, the club has long been the most successful Hungarian handball club, but only on a national level. 26 Hungarian championships represent a record. In addition to 27 national cup victories , two international titles have been won in the European Cup Winners' Cup . In the most important competition, the Champions League , they made it to the finals in 2002, 2015, 2016 and 2019, but they were lost all four times.

Name change

The association has been operating under changing names for years, which are identical to those of the respective main sponsor. Currently this is Telekom, previously the association was also called MKB-MVM , Fotex , Bramac and Építők .
