Rogério Moraes Ferreira (born January 11, 1994 in Abaetetuba , Brazil ) is a Brazilian handball player . The circle runner plays for KC Veszprém .

Career

Ferreira, who comes from a Brazilian Amazon province, only started playing handball in 2012. As part of an international trip for the Brazilian national team, he completed a trial training session in Kiel. After that, Ferreira got a one-year contract, with an option for another two years. In Kiel he was the third runner in the 2015/16 season after Patrick Wiencek and René Toft Hansen . Previously, Ferreira played for the Brazilian clubs ADENA Abaetetuba and Vila Olimpica / Manoel Tubino / FAB. From September 2015 he was also eligible to play for TSV Altenholz . From the summer of 2016 he ran for the Macedonian club RK Vardar Skopje . With Vardar he won the North Macedonian Championship in 2017, 2018 and 2019, the North Macedonian Cup in 2017 and 2018 and the EHF Champions League in 2017 and 2019 . Moraes Ferreira has been playing for the Hungarian club KC Veszprém since the 2019/20 season .
