Kent Robin Tønnesen (born June 5, 1991 in Partille , Sweden ) is a handball player from Norway .
Career
The 1.94 meter tall and 90 kilogram right back player was under contract in Norway with Fjellhammer IL and Haslum HK . In the 2012/13 season Tønnesen ran for the Swedish top club IK Sävehof . He then moved to the German handball league for HSG Wetzlar , which he left after the 2014/15 season to join the Füchsen Berlin . With the Füchsen he became club world champion in 2015 and 2016 . He has been under contract with the Hungarian club Telekom Veszprém since the 2017/18 season . With Veszprém he won the Hungarian Cup in 2018 and the Hungarian Championship in 2019.
For the Norwegian national team Kent Robin Tønnesen played 100 international games , in which he threw 271 goals; he was in the extended squad for the 2011 World Cup .
