Joakim Andrè Hykkerud (born February 10, 1986 in Notodden ) is a Norwegian handball player .

The 1.90 meter tall and 110 kilogram heavy circle player was initially under contract with the Norwegian club Drammen HK . In January 2011 he moved to the Danish first division club Bjerringbro-Silkeborg . In the summer of 2011 Hykkerud joined the Swedish first division club IFK Kristianstad , which he left after only one season. He then signed a two-year contract with the German Bundesliga club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf . In the summer of 2017, he returned to Drammen HK for family reasons.

For the Norwegian national team Joakim Hykkerud has so far played 79 international matches , in which he threw 71 goals; he was in the extended squad for the 2011 World Cup .
