Manuel Štrlek (born December 1, 1988 in Zagreb , SR Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian handball player . He plays in the left wing position. His body length is 1.80 m, his body weight is around 79 kg.
Athletic career
Štrlek began his professional handball career with the Croatian handball club RK Zagreb in the 2006/07 Champions League season with the game against the Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje on November 6, 2006. Štrlek was both Croatian with RK Zagreb from 2007 to 2012 every year Masters as well as cup winners. In the summer of 2012 he moved to the Polish club KS Kielce , with which he also won the championship and cup in the first year.
With the Croatian national team, he won silver at the 2010 European Championship and the bronze medal at the 2012 European Championship , the 2012 Olympic Games and the 2013 World Championship . He also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
In the summer of 2018, Štrlek joined the top Hungarian team KC Veszprém .
