Petar Perović (born August 17, 1929 in Banja Luka , † October 26, 2010 ibid) was a Yugoslav national handball player and coach .

Perović initially practiced several sports before he decided on handball in 1954. The backcourt player played 130 games for RK Borac Banja Luka in his career , in which he scored 465 goals. With Borac Banja Luka he won the Yugoslav Championship in 1959 and 1960 and the Yugoslav Cup in 1957, 1958 and 1961. Furthermore, Perović ran a total of 22 times for the Yugoslav national team .

Perović coached the Yugoslav national team from 1964 to 1966 after his active career. He then coached youth teams in Banja Luka and coached the men's team of RK Borac Banja Luka from 1966 to 1968.
