Nebojša Golić

Nebojša Golić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Небојша Голић ; born January 23, 1977 in Banja Luka , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Bosnian - Serb handball player who was most recently under contract with the Bosnian first division club RK Bosna Sarajevo . There he was used in the position of the middle backcourt .

From the 2001/02 season to the 2006/07 season he played as a professional handball player for the German Bundesliga club HSG Wetzlar . During this period, the playmaker scored 856 goals in 161 Bundesliga games for Wetzlar before he had to end his Bundesliga career in 2007 for health reasons. After a short stop at his home club RK Borac Banja Luka , he then moved to RK Bosna Sarajevo.

Before joining HSG Wetzlar, he played for RK Sintelon , except for RK Borac Banja Luka . He is 48 times Bosnian national player (as of January 20, 2007) and took part with the Serbian-Montenegrin national team in the 2000 Olympic Games , for which he played 66 international games.

Since 2013 he has been a board member at Borac Banja Luka.
