Julie Pecquet

Julie Pecquet (* 1973 in Paris ) is a French dancer , choreographer and teacher .

Life

Julie Pecquet began training in classical ballet when she was five. In addition, she took music, singing and acting lessons. From 1993 she completed her training as a state-recognized dance teacher at the Lola-Rogge-School in Hamburg . She then trained in jazz dance and hip hop at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles and at the Broadway Dance Center in New York .

Julie Pecquet worked with Wyclef Jean , Modern Talking and acted as a choreographer for various TV shows and show acts such as Top of the Pops , The Dome and Viva Interaktiv . She acted as the singer in the first video of the dance act Rollergirl , Dear Jessie . The vocals are from Nicole Safft (a video with Safft was later released).

Since 1999 she has taught jazz and hip hop at? On Stage ?? (Stage School) in Hamburg. In 2006 she choreographed the contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens for Switzerland . Julie Pecquet supervises her own contemporary choreography projects with dance companies in Hamburg, Paris and Toulouse.
