Tim Hornke (born August 4, 1990 in Hanover ) is a German handball player .
Career
society
Tim Hornke has been playing handball since he was eight. Before he moved to TSV Hannover-Anderten , the right winger played at HSG Langenhagen. In others he played B-youth and one year A-youth. From 2007 the then still A-youth played in the 2nd handball Bundesliga at HSV Hannover . The junior national player has played at SC Magdeburg since the 2010/11 season . There he had a second game right for the second team. For the 2014/15 season he moved to TBV Lemgo .
On September 22, 2018 it was announced that he would play again for SC Magdeburg from the 2019/20 season.
National team
Tim Hornke was a member of the German national youth team, with which he became European champion in 2008. In 2011 he won the world championship title, also with the junior national team. In December 2017 Hornke was nominated by the then national coach Christian Prokop for the extended squad for the European Championship 2018 . He has played 17 games so far in which he scored 41 goals.
