Marko Bezjak (born June 26, 1986 in Ptuj ) is a Slovenian handball player .

Career

Marko Bezjak played in Slovenia with RK Jeruzalem Ormoz and later with Gorenje Velenje . With Velenje he won the Slovenian championship in 2009, 2012 and 2013 and played several times in the EHF Champions League and the EHF Cup . For the 2013/14 season, the 1.84 meter tall back player moved to the German Bundesliga club SC Magdeburg , where he signed a two-year contract. With the SCM, he won the DHB Cup in 2016 .

Bezjak is a member of the Slovenian national team , with which he took part in the 2012 European Championship in Serbia , the 2013 World Cup in Spain and the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil .
