Daniel Pettersson (handball player)

Daniel Pettersson (born May 6, 1992 in Eskilstuna ) is a Swedish handball player who has been playing on the right winger position at SC Magdeburg since 2016 .

Pettersson started playing handball at Eskilstuna Guif in 2001 . From the 2010/11 season, the left-hander ran on with the men's team from Eskilstuna Guif in the Elitserien . Pettersson was Swedish runner-up with Eskilstuna in 2011. In summer 2016 he joined the German Bundesliga club SC Magdeburg.

For the Swedish national team , Pettersson has played 26 international matches so far , in which he scored 79 goals. Pettersson was previously a member of the Swedish national youth team, with which he won the U-21 World Cup in 2013.
