Dunkerque HBGL ( Dunkerque Handball Grand Littoral ) is a French handball club from Dunkirk .

history

The club was founded on September 3, 1958 under the name "Amicale Laïque de l'Esplanade". In 1964 it was renamed "Amicale Laïque de Dunkerque". In January 1968 the club merged with “Denier de Malo” to “Amicale Laïque Dunkerque Malo”. On April 27, 1974 it went into the US Dunkerque (USD; since September 1997 USDK). The official name of the club today is "Dunkerque Handball Grand Littoral".
