Union sportive Créteil handball is a French sports club from Créteil founded in 1964 , whose handball team has played in the Ligue Nationale de Handball since 2014 .
The club experienced its heyday at the end of the 1980s, when it won the French championship and the cup in 1989. In the 1988/89 European Cup Winners' Cup, Créteil only lost to TUSEM Essen in the final . In the 1989/90 European Cup , Créteil failed in the semifinals at the eventual winners FC Barcelona . In the 2012/13 season they rose as 13th in the second division, but the immediate resurgence followed.
