Gorazd Škof (born July 11, 1977 in Novo mesto , SR Slovenia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian handball goalkeeper . He is the goalkeeper of the Slovenian national team .

Gorazd Škof started in his Slovenian homeland at RK Brežice. He came to the Slovenian top club RK Velenje through several positions . In 2004 he left the club in the direction of league rivals RK Celje . After four successful years in which he won multiple championships and cup winners with Celje, he went to RK Zagreb in Croatia in 2008 . With the team he became Croatian champions in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

In 2011 he was signed by the Slovenian club RK Koper . In the summer of 2013 he joined the French club HBC Nantes . In the 2016/17 season he played for Paris Saint-Germain , with whom he won the championship. He has been under contract with the German Bundesliga club HC Erlangen since summer 2017 . For the 2019/20 season he moved to the Austrian club SC Ferlach . In November 2019, Škof was signed by TSG Friesenheim .

With the Slovenian national team , the 188-time national player won silver at the 2004 European Handball Championship in his own country. He was a member of the Slovenian squad at the 2016 Olympic Games .
