USAM Nîmes Gard is a French sports club from Nîmes , founded in 1960 , whose handball team has been back in the 1st French League (LNH) since 2013.

The club experienced its heyday in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when it won the French championship four times (1988, 1990, 1991, 1993) and three cup wins (1985, 1986, 1994). In the EHF Champions League 1993/94 USAM failed in the group stage by only narrowly reaching the finals. In the 1994/95 European Cup Winners' Cup , they failed in the first round. It was the last international appearance to date.
