Kornél Nagy [ ˈkorneːl ˈnɒɟ ] (born November 21, 1986 in Püspökladány ) is a Hungarian handball player .

The 1.96 meter tall and 98 kilogram heavy middle back player initially played with Dunaferr SE in the EHF Cup (seasons 2005/06, 2006/07, 2007/08, 2009/10) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2008/09). In the 2010/11 season he was under contract with KC Veszprém . With Veszprém he won the Hungarian championship and the Hungarian cup. Nagy then joined the French first division club Dunkerque HBGL , with whom he won the French League Cup in 2013 and the championship in 2014.

Kornél Nagy scored 213 goals in 131 international matches for the Hungarian national team (as of January 2017); he was in Hungary's squad for the 2010 and 2014 European handball championships .
