  • 1997 : At a press conference of the German pop-rap group Tic Tac Toe in Munich there was an open dispute: In front of the cameras, the three members accused each other of lying and finally left the podium crying.

  • 1916 : The British hospital ship HMHS Britannic , a sister ship of the Titanic , sinks during the First World War , probably due to a mine explosion. The accident claims 30 dead and 40 injured; most of them in rashly launched lifeboats that are smashed by the ship's propellers that are still running.
