Brian McNamara

Brian McNamara (born November 21, 1960 in Long Island , New York ) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Dean Karny in the television movie Billionaire Boys Club , for which he won a Golden Globe Award in 1988 was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

Career

One of his first roles was that of Greg in the television series Family Ties , in which he played Alex Keaton's boyfriend, who is killed in a car accident. The writer of this episode received an Emmy for his script . McNamara had leading roles in numerous films such as u. a. Arachnophobia and guest appearances on television series such as Seinfeld , New York Cops - NYPD Blue , Chief Physician Dr. Elsewhere , JAG - Call of Duty , The OC , Star Trek: Voyager , Mad About You , Matlock , Ellen , Murder, She Wrote , Murphy Brown and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody .

In 2004 he starred in the film A Promise Kept . Since 2007 he has played one of the leading male roles in the television series Army Wives .
