Rosalia "Lia" Angeleri (born April 25, 1922 in Genoa , † November 21, 1969 in Stabbia , Cerreto Guidi ) was an Italian actress .

Life

As a teenager, Angeleri first devoted himself to the violin and played in orchestras, then to sports, and finally pursued a career as an actress. She gained her first experience at the “Piccolo Teatro” in her hometown, then in Palermo and finally with great success with critics and audiences in Turin . From 1947 to 1952 she was a member of the “Piccolo Teatro” in Milan and played in several pieces under Giorgio Strehler , for example in Nachtasyl , We got away again , Summer and Rauch and Gl'innamorati . The following season she spent again in Genoa; noteworthy here was her appearance in Clash by Night under Giannino Gallone .

By contrast, her film career was of a very modest extent. Only nine works are in her filmography; given her talent, these were disappointing. Angeleri's television work is more extensive. For original material she played under Giacomo Vaccari in a Moravia film adaptation and for Silverio Blasi , Vittorio Cottafavi and Flaminio Bollini ; She was also seen in an adaptation of Resurrection and in film adaptations of La signorina and Ottocento . Angeleri also found crime series listed as a guest star.

She died at the age of 47.
