Anđelko Đuričić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Анђелко Ђуричић , born November 21, 1980 in Pančevo , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football goalkeeper who plays for the Portuguese club União Leiria .
Career
Đuričić's professional career began in 2000 in his hometown at Dinamo Pančevo . For the club he completed 67 games before moving to Hajduk Kula in the top Serbian league. The 1.94-meter-tall goalkeeper stood between the posts for the Hajduci for seven years until he joined the Portuguese club União Leiria in 2009 . Despite strong competition from Helder Godinho and Michael Domingues , Đuričić was able to establish himself as a regular goalkeeper. The 2009/10 season closed the team with a place in midfield.
Đuričić was appointed on May 12, 2010 as one of four goalkeepers by coach Radomir Antić in the extended squad of the Serbian national football team for participation in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa . The goalkeeper, who briefly surrendered his Serbian passport to take on Ukrainian citizenship, made his first appearance in the senior team a short time later in a friendly against New Zealand . The 29-year-old goalkeeper showed several fantastic saves in the 1-0 defeat, so that national coach Radomir Antić nominated him as the third goalkeeper for South Africa. As expected, he was not used there.
