Simon Angerpointner (born November 4, 1854 in Au ; † November 21, 1930 in Untertaching ) was a German mill and sawmill owner, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Angerpointner attended elementary school in Au bei Traunstein from 1860 to 1867 and Sunday school in Taching from 1867 to 1870. He first devoted himself to agriculture and after his military service was in these professions from 1877 to 1911 by taking over a mill, saw and economics business active. In 1874 he was enlisted in the Bavarian Infantry Body Regiment and from 1875 to 1877 he was an active non-commissioned officer in this unit. Between 1888 and 1894 he was alderman, from 1894 to 1900 foundation curator and from 1900 to 1912 mayor of the municipality of Taching. Since 1888 he was a member of the district council and since 1891 a sworn expert for hail damage at the Königl. Insurance Chamber in Bavaria. He was awarded the Badge of Honor for 25-year-old independent fire service.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Bavaria 8 ( Traunstein , Laufen , Berchtesgaden , Altötting ) and the German Center Party .
