Walter Adolph

Walter Adolph , pseudonym: Wilhelm Leibusch (born November 21, 1902 in Berlin-Kreuzberg ; † April 25, 1975 in Berlin), was a Catholic priest .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1921, he studied theology in Breslau and was ordained a priest in 1927. From 1932 to 1936 he was editor of the Catholic Church Gazette for the Diocese of Berlin . From 1933 to 1936 he took over the management of the student council of the Catholic Church Press in the Reich Press Chamber . In 1945 he became cathedral capitular and in 1945 head of the Petrusblatt and More publishing house. In 1947 he became head of the episcopal press office in Berlin. From 1961 to 1969 he was vicar general under Bishop Alfred Bengsch .

His grave is in the St. Hedwig Cathedral Cemetery in Berlin-Reinickendorf .
