Ilie Sánchez Farrés (born November 21, 1990 in Barcelona ), player name Ilie , is a Spanish football player .
Career
FC Barcelona B
Sánchez started playing football in his hometown of Barcelona. As a youth he played for FC Barcelona . From 2009 he played in the second team of the club with whom he rose to the Segunda División in 2010. Most recently he was captain of FC Barcelona B with whom he took third place in the Segunda División in the 2013/14 season .
TSV 1860 Munich
In June 2014, Sánchez, like his team-mate Edu Bedia shortly thereafter , moved to TSV 1860 Munich . He signed a three-year contract there. Sánchez established himself as a regular player at the beginning of the 2014/15 season. With the winning goal to make it 2-0 at home against SpVgg Greuther Fürth , he scored his first goal for the Lions on September 26, 2014 . At the beginning of the 2015/16 season , Sánchez was no longer in the first team's squad under coach Torsten Fröhling .
FC Elche
On August 31, 2015, Sánchez moved on loan to the Segunda División for FC Elche . After the 2015/16 season he returned to Munich. His contract was terminated there by mutual agreement.
Sporting Kansas City
On January 13, 2017, Sánchez moved to Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer .
