Marius Fartum

Marius Myhre Fartum (born November 21, 1991 ) is a badminton player from Norway .

Athletic career

From 2005 to 2008, Fartum won ten youth titles in Norway. In 2007 he started at Norwegian International , where he was also at the start in 2008 and 2009. In the last two years mentioned, he also represented his country at the European team championships. In 2008 he also started at Swedish International Stockholm , Welsh International and Irish International . A year later he was back in Sweden and played at the Estonian International and the Spanish International as well as the World Junior Championships.

His first major national success was winning the bronze medal at the Norwegian individual championships in men's singles 2010, where he was eliminated in the semifinals against the eventual master Steinar Klausen with 12:21 and 7:21. In 2013 he was Norwegian champion in both doubles and singles. He also won the individual title the following year.
