At the beginning of his training series, he attended the aviation engineering school in Bielsko-Biała (Poland), followed by studies at the mining engineering faculty at the Ostrava Mining University , which he successfully completed in 1957 as a graduate engineer .

Since he started gliding in 1946, his interest in the technical construction of aircraft has grown. In addition to his professional activity in mining, he began designing aircraft in his spare time.

With the WT-1 the designer flew international competitions of the Eastern Bloc in Hungary. The WT-3 was his first invention in plastic construction, one example can be seen in a museum in Košice . The WT-4 and WT-5 models remained drafts. The WT-6 to -8 series were UL aircraft with double tail units and pusher propellers .
