Toshihiko Koga

Toshihiko Koga ( Japanese 古 賀 稔 彦 , Koga Toshihiko ; born November 21, 1967 in Saga Prefecture , Japan ) is a successful Japanese judoka who was three times world champion and one Olympic champion in the weight classes up to 71 kg and 78 kg. In addition to his competitive successes, Koga is known for his special Seoi-nage technique, in particular for the so-called Koga-Seoi-nage that is named after him and is twisted from the outside, contrary to the normal barrel type.
