Ahn Byeong-keun (born February 23, 1962 ) is a former South Korean judoka . He was Olympic champion in 1984 and lightweight world champion in 1985.

The 1.72 m tall ancestor Byeong-keun defeated the Japanese Hidetoshi Nakanishi in the quarter-finals of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the British Kerrith Brown in the semi-finals . In the final he defeated the Italian Olympic champion from 1980 Ezio Gamba in a fight over seven minutes with a coca rating. At the 1985 World Championships in Seoul , Ahn Byeong-keun defeated the Japanese Takahiro Nishida in the quarter-finals , and in the semifinals he won against Steffen Stranz from the Federal Republic of Germany. In the final, he defeated Mike Swain from the United States. A year after the World Championships, the 1986 Asian Games also took place in Seoul. Ahn Byeong-keun defeated the Japanese Yukiharu Yoshitaka in the final .

In 1988 Ahn Byeong-keun no longer competed in the lightweight, but in the light middleweight division. In this weight class he won the Hungaria Cup in Budapest in March 1988. At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , the South Korean won his first fight against the Belgian Johan Laats through Ippon. In his second fight he was eliminated from the Canadian Kevin Doherty .
