Daniela Zini (born May 30, 1959 in Livigno ) is a former Italian ski racer . She won two slalom races in the World Cup and the bronze medal in this discipline at the 1982 World Cup .

biography

Zini competed in the Ski World Cup from 1979 to 1986 , celebrated two slalom victories and reached the podium eleven times. In the 1980/81 season she was third in the Slalom World Cup.

At the 1978 World Cup , her best result was eleventh place in the slalom. Four years later she won the bronze medal in slalom at the 1982 World Championships in Schladming behind Erika Hess (SUI) and Christin Cooper (USA). In Bormio 1985 she was also at the start, but was eliminated in the second slalom run.

Zini took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1980 she was seventh in slalom in Lake Placid , in 1984 in Sarajevo she finished ninth in slalom and 25th in giant slalom. From 1980 to 1984 she won six Italian championship titles .
