Andrieu d'Humières ( Dreu, Drieu , † November 21, 1458 in Hainaut ) was a military in the service of the Duke of Burgundy. He was accepted into the Order of the Golden Fleece in 1445 .

Life

Andrieu d'Humières was the eldest son of Dreu d'Humières and Isabelle de Willerval. He was Seigneur d ' Humières , de Bugnicourt et de Bouzincourt .

In 1428 he is attested as a squire, in 1429 as a lieutenant in Meaux and governor of Melun . In 1430 he was knighted during the siege of Compiègne . In 1432 he was captured by the Creil garrison together with Jean Bâtard de Saint-Pol ; He was then released again on payment of a large ransom.

In 1436 he took part in the siege of Calais , in 1438 he commanded a unit in the conquest of Luxembourg City . In the same year he inherited from Jeanne d'Espagny, mistress of Le Quesnoy .

In 1445 he was accepted into the Order of the Golden Fleece . His last military service was probably on April 15, 1452 in the fight against the rebellious citizens of Ghent and later in the same year in the bodyguard of the Duke of Burgundy at the Battle of Rupelmonde .

Andrieu d'Humières married Jenne de Nédonchel, heir daughter of Gilles IV, Seigneur de Nédonchel , and Marie de La Clyte dite de Comines († after 1462). Your children were:
