Lukas Herburger (born December 19, 1994 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Herburger began playing hard handball at Alpla HC in his youth . On September 3, 2011, the Bregenz player was in the first team's squad for the first time in the game against HSG Bärnbach / Köflach . His first goal in the Handball League Austria who scored pivot player in the semifinals against the Handball Club Fivers Margareten . Herburger also secured his first championship title in the 2011/12 season , others followed in 2012/13 , 2013/14 , 2014/15 and 2016/17 . In addition, the right-hander was able to bring the ÖHB Cup and the double to Hard with the team in 2013/14 . In summer 2018 he switched to the Swiss first division club Kadetten Schaffhausen . After the season 2017/18 changed Herburger together with his coach Petr Hrachovec to the Cadets Schaffhausen in the National League A . With Schaffhausen he won the Swiss championship in 2019.

With Team 94 he took part in the European Youth Championships in 2012 and 2014 and came in 6th each time.
