Marius Aleksejev (born August 27, 1982 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian handball player .

The 1.95 m tall and 93 kg heavy handball goalkeeper began his career with the Estonian club HC Kehra Tallinn. In 2001 he moved to HC Tallas Aruküla, with whom he played in the EHF Cup 2001/02 and 2002/03 and the EHF Challenge Cup 2003/04. He was supposed to return to Kehra in the summer of 2004, but then signed with the Finnish club Sjundeå IF, with whom he became Finnish champions and cup winners in 2005. Then he finally came back to HC Kehra, with whom he won the championship and cup in 2006 and 2009. In the 2009/10 season he played for the Swiss club Wacker Thun , then for HC Kriens-Luzern , with whom he also took part in the Challenge Cup. In February 2013, the cadets Schaffhausen brought him as a replacement for the injured goalkeeper Arūnas Vaškevičius . From November 2013 he was in the gate of the Finnish Riihimypen Cocks, with whom he reached the quarter-finals of the EHF Challenge Cup 2013/14 . He has been under contract with the Swiss first division club Lakers Stäfa since 2015 .

Marius Aleksejev has played at least 102 internationals for the Estonian national team .
