The handball department

History of the handball department

The story began with the winter championship in 1971/72, with Heinz Schärer as coach, and a victory was achieved.

In 1973 the B-Juniors won their first championship title for the TVE.

Glorious 90s

In the 1995/96 season, the TVE rose under the direction of the coaching duo Toni Hasler and Werner Locher in the National League A. The 2nd team also rose to the 1st league. The A-Juniors achieved the runner-up title several times and established themselves in the A-Inter. The B-Juniors were promoted to the B-Inter class in the 1997/98 season.
