Club history

The association was founded in 1893. In the early years, the community came first. Gymnastics festivals were attended with some moderate success. Despite the war, the number of members increased steadily, in 1968 the association had 370 members. Slowly but surely the handball game was in the foreground. International matches were held in the Steinli Hall. In 1983 you even got into the Guinness Book of Records: 18 hours handball marathon in the Steinli Halle.

1986 the greatest success so far, the TV Möhlin became National League B champion and thus rose to the top division in Switzerland. In the following year the descent followed. Even the juniors continue to shine to this day. In 1993, a hundred years after the association was founded, the association had 525 members. In 2004 the club was relegated to the first division, and now they rely entirely on regional players.

In the 2011/12 season, TV Möhlin managed to get promoted again with the coach Wolfgang Böhme and Marcus Hock and will thus play again in the National League B from the 2012/13 season.
