HC Horgen
The Horgen handball club (abbreviated to HC Horgen or HCH ) is a Swiss handball club from Horgen and plays with the first team in the second highest division of the Swiss Handball League . In the 2016/2017 season, 21 teams play for HC Horgen.

history
founding
The handball players split off from the Horgen gymnastics club in 1967 and founded their own club. Heinrich Gribi and Hansheinrich Stäubli, then president of TV Horgen, founded today's handball club Horgen and at the same time signed the contract to leave TV Horgen. The founding members included Heinrich Gribi as president, Edwin Fehr as treasurer and Fritz Biber Sen. as initiator (not on the board). In 1968 Walter Altenburger founded the junior department of HC Horgen.

HC Horgen forms partnerships on various levels and appears in the championship as a game community (SG) for men and juniors and as SG Zürisee for women and juniors.
