Sepp Parzinger

Sepp Parzinger (born May 3, 1911 in Altenmarkt / Osterhofen , † June 28, 1979 in Altenmarkt an der Alz ) was a German politician of the Bavarian Party and a member of the German Bundestag .

Sepp Parzinger was a bricklayer by profession. In 1938 he took over the family business for building materials and fertilizers. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier. Parzinger joined the Bavarian Party, was elected to the district council in 1948 and was deputy district administrator of the Traunstein district from May 1949 .

From 1949 to 1953 he was a member of the first German Bundestag, in which he was elected as a direct candidate for the Traunstein constituency with 33.6% of the votes . From December 14, 1951 he belonged to the parliamentary group of the Federal Union . This was the result of a merger of the parliamentary groups of the Bavarian Party and the Center Party in order to retain the parliamentary group status.
