Serhij Wassyljowytsch Bilyk ( Ukrainian Сергій Васильович Білик , also Sergiy Bilyk ; born September 2, 1970 in Donetsk , Ukrainian SSR ) is an Austrian handball goalkeeper with Ukrainian roots. He is 2.01 m tall.

Player career

The native Ukrainian began his active professional career at Polytechnic-Dinamo Donetsk . There he played with an interruption in which he played in Tunisia until 1999. Since that year the 2.01 meter tall goalkeeper has been under contract with the handball club Fivers Margareten in the highest Austrian handball league, the Handball League Austria . In addition, he leads the goalkeeper training at the women's handball club Hypo Niederösterreich . With the Viennese he won the championship title in 2011 and the ÖHB Cup victory in 2009 , 2012 , 2013 , 2015 and 2016 .

Serhij Bilyk also played as a handball goalkeeper for the Ukrainian men's national handball team, such as at the 2010 European Handball Championship in Austria . He has Austrian citizenship.

Private

Serhiy Bilyk's son Nikola is also a handball player, he played on the same team with his father from 2012 to 2016.
