Martin Abadir (* 19th June 1981 in Oleśnica ) is from Poland originating handball player with Austrian citizenship .

Career

The 1.96 meter tall and 110 kilogram player began his active professional career in 2001 with the Aon Fivers Margareten . Before that he was active as a youth at WAT Fünfhaus . With the Aon Fivers he played in the EHF Cup (2006, 2008 and 2009) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2009).

In 2009 and 2012 he won the cup with the handball club Fivers Margareten and the championship title in the 2010/11 season. After the 2012/13 season Martin Abadir ended his professional career with the Fivers, in his spare time he plays for the Vöslauer HC . In his first year with the Lower Austrians , he made it to the Handball Bundesliga Austria with them . In 2015 he left the Vöslauer HC.

For the Austrian national handball team he scored 91 goals in 66 appearances.
