The gymnastics club 1861 Gelnhausen e. V. is a German sports club from Gelnhausen founded in 1861 , which offers handball , athletics , boxing , gymnastics and gymnastics .

Handball

The men's handball team played in the Oberliga Hessen in the 2013/14 season. The club's greatest success was participation in the 2nd handball league from 1988–1993 and 2002–2007.
