Mirza Čehajić (born April 28, 1979 ) is a handball coach and former handball player from Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Career

He started his career at HV Gračanica, later he played in Israel and Turkey, then at RK Bosna Sarajevo , from where he moved to the German handball league in 2006 at GWD Minden . In February 2008, the 1.94 meter tall back player went to the Wilhelmshaven AGM before signing a contract with the Swiss first division club Wacker Thun . He then played from 2010 at TV Gelnhausen. For the 2011/12 season he moved to HSC 2000 Coburg . There, his contract was not extended after the end of the 2012/13 season. Since 2013 he has been the player-coach of the HSG Kastellaun-Simmern league club and youth coach of the JSG Hunsrück.

Mirza Čehajić made 67 appearances for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina .
