In the two following years, the HSG Hanau was able to achieve 7th place (2013/2014) and 3rd place (2014/2015).

One year later (2015/2016), HSG Hanau was able to secure the title of Hessian Champion with one point ahead of SG Bruchköbel and thus rose to the 3rd League East. In the same season, HSG Hanau was only able to secure the championship title in the Oberliga Hessen in a home game against the 2nd team of TV Hüttenberg on the last matchday.

At the end of the 2016/2017 season, HSG Hanau was able to secure relegation in the penultimate home game of the season against SG LVB Leipzig and is in 9th place in the 3rd League East.

In the last game of the 2017/2018 season, the best placement in the club's young history was achieved when they attracted attention with a 3rd place in the 3rd League East and in all 15 games in the local Main-Kinzig-Halle remained unbeaten (2 draws). In the 2011/2012 season, the A-Jugend was able to qualify for the newly founded Youth Handball Bundesliga (JHBL), the highest league in the age group. The team started in the West season and was able to place 7th in the table at the end of the season. Since the 2014/2015 season, the A-youth handball players from HSG Hanau have been competing in JHBL's East relay. In their first season in the East season, the season for the Hanau offspring ended in 4th place.

With the achievement of 4th place one secured the direct qualification for another year in the JHBL. A year later in 2015/2016 the direct qualification was missed because only the 8th place and not the 6th place required for the direct qualification could be achieved. However, the Hanau A-youth qualified again for the A-Youth Bundesliga next year.

In the previous 2016/2017 season, by reaching 4th place, they were able to secure direct qualification again and thus ended the season in front of the 5th placed youngsters from TV Gelnhausen and behind the Junior Academy of TV Großwallstadt from Großwallstadt, who took 3rd place reached.

With 7th place in the 2017/2018 season, the HSG Hanau missed the direct qualification for the following Bundesliga year.

B-youth

The B-Youth of HSG Hanau played in the 2009/2010 season in the regional league in the East Season, the top division of the B-Youth at the time, and was able to place 7th in the table at the end of the season.

In the 2010/2011 season they started in the Oberliga Hessen, which is also the highest possible division this season. The Hanau youngsters won the Oberliga Hessen this year and therefore took part in the Southwest German Championship. In the semifinals of the Southwest German Championship they defeated SG Wallau with 27:26 in Wallau and a week later 40:31 in Hanau. In the final of the Southwest German Championship, TV Hüttenberg was defeated 30:17 after a 36:23 away defeat in the second leg in Hanau and became Southwest German champion. Then they played in the quarter-finals of the German championship. The opponent here was the HSG Menden-Lendringsen. The first leg of the quarter-finals in Hanau ended at 21:21, but the Hanauer B youth handball players lost the second leg with 31:26 and were eliminated from the competition.

A year later, in 2011/2012, they started in the Oberliga Hessen and won the title again. Thus one was qualified for the preliminary round of the German championship. Opponents were here in group D: SG Kronau Östringen and TSV GWD Minden. The Hanauer were able to achieve second place with just one win over Minden in the first leg, which was not enough for a participation in the semi-finals of the German championship.

In 2012/2013 the youngsters from Hanau played again in the Oberliga Hessen, but could not reach 1st place due to a 20:21 defeat in the second leg on the penultimate matchday against HSG Dudenhofen Münchholzhausen , the team finished second and thus did not qualify for the German championship.

In the 2013/2014 season, the Hanau offspring could only qualify for the Landesliga Hessen, the second highest division, and ended the season in 4th place. Also in 2014/2015 they played in the state league and reached 3rd place, tied with the fourth-placed handball players from HSG Dudenhofen Münchholzhausen .

In the 2015/2016 season, the B youth handball players at HSG Hanau made it back into the league for the first time in two years and were able to win it. Thus, as Hessen champions, at the end of the season you were qualified for the quarter-finals of the German championship. In the quarter-finals, group B played the youngsters from Eintracht Hildesheim and the youngsters from SV 64 Zweibrücken . Zweibrücken was the first to prevail and moved into the semi-finals against the Füchse Berlin . HSG Hanau came second in Group B of the quarter-finals due to a 27:21 first leg win against Eintracht from Hildesheim and a 26:25 win over Zweibrücken in the second leg ahead of the offspring of Eintracht Hildesheim.

In the 2016/2017 season, the HSG Hanau B youth team had to qualify for the major league via a playoff. The opponent was the mJSG Melsungen / Körle / Guxhagen . Although they lost the first leg in Melsungen with 25:24, they qualified thanks to a 31:22 win in the second leg for the league. The Hanauer B youth handball players were only able to reach 5th place in the upper league with 17:11 points, tied with SG Wallau / Massenheim and 10 points ahead of the sixth place from HSG VfR / Eintracht Wiesbaden .

After a good start to the season and second place in the first half of the season, it was only enough for fifth place in the 2017/2018 season after a weaker second half.

C-youth

The C-youth of HSG Hanau finished their first season 2009/2010 in second place in the Oberliga Hessen Staffel Süd (highest division of the age group) with 25: 3 points behind the JSG Wallstadt 27: 1 points and thus missed the Hessen championship. Hanau lost the first leg against Wallstadt with 30:31 and did not get past a 30:30 draw in the second leg.

In the following year (2010/2011) the C-youth of HSG Hanau started in the Oberliga Hessen Staffel Süd. The HSG Hanau youth handball players won the major league with 26: 2 points ahead of the HSG Bensheim / Auerbach 22: 6 points. The Hanauer C-youth lost only one game against JSG Crumstadt / Goddelau with 20:19 all other games could be won. The C-youth of HSG Hanau was also able to prevail in the subsequent Hessen championship. She won the first game of the Hessen Championship against TSG Münster with 36:24 and the second game against HSG Zwehren / Kassel with 41:27 and became Hessen Champion. As a Hessen champion you were qualified for the Southwest German Championship, in which you could achieve second place behind SV 64 Zweibrücken . The C-youth of HSG Hanau won four games at the Southwest German Championship and only lost 35:23 against the first place from Zweibrücken.

In the 2011/2012 season the Hanauer C-youth played again in the Oberliga Süd, but could only reach 5th place. The result: six wins and eight defeats at 12:16 points and a goal difference of -33 goals.

Even a year later in 2012/2013, the C-Jugend HSG Hanau did not reach the Hesse championship and at the end of the season was fourth with 18:10 points.

One season later (2013/2014) you are in a better position compared to the previous season. The C-youth handball players reach 3rd place in the Oberliga Süd with 22: 6 points, eleven wins and three defeats are the result of the season.

In the 2014/2015 season, the Hanau C-youth missed the qualification for the upper league and therefore only plays in the district upper league. The C-youth of HSG Hanau finished second in the regional league behind the TV Langenselbold with 25: 3 points .

A year later (2015/2016) the HSG Hanau came back in the Oberliga Süd and won it. The Hanauer C-youths are clearly in 1st place with 28: 0 points ahead of the young handball players of TV Gelnhausen (23: 5 points) and those of SG Bruchköbel (21: 7 points). Hanau is also the strongest defensive team in the league with only 365 goals conceded. The two top games against the C youth handball players of TV Gelnhausen could be won with 37:34 and 45:39. At the following Hesse championship, however, the Hanauers could only win the first of the two games in front of 300 spectators. After a 30:20 win against HSG Zwehren / Kassel , the second game was followed by a 37:30 defeat against HSG Dudenhofen / Münchholzhausen. The result was the vice-Hessen championship for the C-youths of the HSG Hanau.

A similar picture emerged in the 2016/2017 season. Again you could win the season south of the league without defeat. The balance at the end of the season was 27: 1 points. So you could place yourself in front of the HSG Dreieich , which finished second with 25: 3 points. The first top game against Dreieich ended 21:21, the second leg could be won in home hall 28:27. At the Hessen Championship, however, the Hanauer C youth handball players couldn't win a game. The C-youth lost 21:31 against mJSG Melsungen / Körle / Guxhagen and 29:17 against TSG Münster. Thus, at the end of the season, they were Hesse's third-best C youth handball team.

Hanau was second in the season south of the C-youth league in 2017/2018 and thus qualified for the Hessen championship. The Hanauer C-Jugend won the semifinals against HSG Dutenhofen / Münchholzhausen with 23:17, but lost the final with 20:25 against HSG Hochheim / Wicker.
