history

In the 2010/2011 season, the team managed to move up from the Wiesbaden regional league to the central Hessen regional league without losing a point. In the same year they won the Wiesbaden District Cup and secured participation in the 1st round of the DHB Cup with a win against Vfl Goldstein . In the 2011/2012 season they managed to return to the Oberliga Hessen, the fourth-highest division in Germany. In the 2013/2014 season, after only two seasons in the major league, the club was promoted to the 3rd handball league , which unfortunately could only be held for one season. At the same time the 2nd men's team rose to the Landesliga-Mitte-Hessen. In the 2016/2017 season, the first men's team had to accept an enormous bloodletting of players for a variety of reasons. After you could still hold the league in the 17/18 season, you rose 18/19 narrowly and unhappy in the regional league middle.

Other teams

In addition to the first men's team, there is a second and third men's team, HSG VfR / Eintracht Wiesbaden II (Landesliga-Mitte-Hessen) and HSG VfR / Eintracht Wiesbaden III (District League B). There is also a first women's team (Landesliga-Mitte-Hessen), as well as numerous youth teams in all age groups. The male C-youth (born 1995) won the Hesse and Southwest German champions in the 2009/2010 season. In the 2016/2017 season, the HSG A-Youth will play in the youth handball league for the fourth year in a row.
