Luděk Drobek (born December 23, 1975 in Karviná ) is a Czech handball player and coach . His body length is 2.02 m.

Drobek's home club is HCB Karviná . With Karviná he played in the EHF Cup , the Euro City Cup and the EHF Champions League . He then played in Israel, Italy and France before coming to Germany, where he first played for second division club MT Melsungen . From July 2005 to December 2005 Drobek played for the second division HSG Niestetal-Staufenberg . Then Drobek was under contract with the second division HC Empor Rostock until June 2007 . In the second half of the 2006/2007 season Drobek was loaned to the first division club Frisch Auf Göppingen . In July 2007 Drobek moved to the second division TV Bittenfeld , where he played in the 1st team until June 2011 and qualified with this team in 2011 for the newly founded single-track 2nd handball Bundesliga. Then Drobek was playing assistant coach of the 2nd team of the TVB in the Württembergliga. In the 2011/12 season Drobek was reactivated again for the second division squad. Drobek moved from Bittenfeld as a player- coach to the 2nd team of SV Remshalden, which plays in the district class. Nevertheless, Drobek was reactivated again for the TVB's second division squad in the 2014/15 season . For the TVB Drobek works as a player-coach of the 3rd team in the district class.

Drobek has played 9 international matches for the Czech national team .

Drobek plays as a right backcourt player . He is also considered a defense specialist .

Drobek has been working as a toolmaker for a sponsor of the TVB in Waiblingen since his time as a player in Bittenfeld .

Drobek is married and has two children. His wife is also a handball player, she is active in Rielingshausen .
