Markus Noel (born March 12, 1987 in Lübeck ) is a former German handball player .
Career
Noel started playing handball at VfL Bad Schwartau in 1993 . With the A-youth of VfL Bad Schwartau he was in the semi-finals of the German championship. In 2008 the handball goalkeeper rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with the men's team . At VfL Bad Schwartau he was used a total of 57 times in the 2nd division in the following three seasons. After Noel was only third choice in Schwartau in the 2010/11 season and was mainly used in the second men's team playing in the upper league, he joined the third division SV Henstedt-Ulzburg in the summer of 2011 . With the SVHU he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012. In summer 2013 he returned to VfL Bad Schwartau. In the summer of 2015 he left Schwartau. From the season 2016/17 he played for the HSG Baltic N / G . With the HSG Ostsee, he rose to the 3rd division in 2018 . He ended his career after the 2018/19 season.
